The Basic version of Drift is done and ready to go! You can add up to 3 debts, choose your strategy, and view payoff date information for each of your debts.

Standard and Pro versions of Drift are coming soon and will include the ability to save your debts, view more information about them, and other expanded features. Keep an eye out for what's in store!

Simply put, Drift aims to be a debt payoff calculator that doesn't suck. There don't seem to be many easy-to-use debt calculators out there, and I wanted to make it easier for everyone, including myself, to get out from under their debt.

To assist you in calculating your payoff dates and amounts, Drift requires current balance, interest rate, and monthly payment amounts for your debts.

You may also enter a name for each of your debts to make them easier to identify. If you don't, they'll be assigned a random name.

Any data you enter for your debt is either stored locally on your device when using the Basic calculator, or stored in a database via the Standard and Pro calculator. When stored in the database, identifying information about your debts is encrypted.

Drift will never sell or share the information about your debt with anyone.

Pay extra towards your smallest debt first, then add that amount to your payment on the next smallest one, and so on.

You'll likely hit a payoff date sooner, but may end up paying more interest in the long-run.

Pay extra towards your higest-interest debt first, then add that amount to your payment on the next highest one, and so on.

You may not pay off a debt for a longer time, but you should pay less interest overall.

If the snowball or avalanche strategies aren't quite right for you, a custom order can be added to your debts to control the order you want to apply your chosen snowball amount.
